Where do I take my children?
Children's ministry is one of our core values and we create an environment where they are safe, known and loved by their leaders and their peers. Children's programs are held in the Administrative Building (located next to the Sanctuary). We take safety and security of your children very seriously. All of our childcare employees are American Red Cross Child & Youth CPR qualified and have background screenings. Each parent signs their child in to the age-appropriate room. For more information, please contact our Director of Christian Formation, Jessica Jones, or call the church (904) 541-1234.
Sunday Programs for Children:
Nursery (from birth through age 2) - available at the 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM services
Our team loves to care for your little ones while you worship God in the sanctuary next door. At sign-in, each child will be given a sticker with a specific number on it. The same number on a stub will be given to the parent/guardian. Parents will also provide a mobile telephone number and note any allergies for the child. If an issue arises with your child, workers will text the parent/guardian at the mobile number provided. Parents are welcome to pick their child up prior to communion or after the service has concluded and will be required to show the ticket stub that matches the number of their child.
7th - 12th grade students are invited to join their parents in the sanctuary for the 9:00 AM and the 11:00 AM services.
9:00 AM and 11:00 AM (Pre-K - 6th grade)
Children at 11:00 AM service meet in the following age appropriate classrooms: Pre-K - 1st, 2nd - 3rd, 4th - 6th
Children will be walking through the bible from Genesis to Revelation, and learn how the entire story of the Bible reveals God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.
This 11-week Sunday evening program is available for children up to 6th grade in both the fall and the spring from 4:45 PM-7:00 PM. We look forward to our next Funday School beginning February 11th! Click here for more information.
We are Grace Students.
Our Mission is to make disciples who obey Jesus.
Jr. High Youth Group (Begins January 17th)
Grace Students, rising 7th graders through 8th graders, meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the Barn! Our goal on these nights is for students to encounter Jesus, become a part of our family, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. What can you expect on Wednesdays? - awesome worship and teachings, growth as a follower of Jesus in Life Groups, and great hang time with others! We are focusing on rooting ourselves strongly in the Gospel through the Rooted experience. We will examine different topics related to the essentials of the Gospel, as well as some new spiritual disciplines to devote ourselves to.
High School Youth Group (Begins January 17th)
Grace Students, rising 9th graders through 12th graders, meet on Wednesdays from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM in the Barn! We are kicking off the spring semester with Rooted. Rooted is the next step of our discipleship journey where we will continue growing in grace and putting down deeper roots in the Gospel through spiritual disciplines (particularly the habit of spending time with Jesus each day). Our gatherings will continue to be conversation based through smaller groups. These groups are a safe environment to ask honest and real questions about God, explore the big questions of life, and grow as a disciple of Jesus each week!
Grace Students serve! We make an impact in our community by loving and bringing hope to the “down and out.” James, the Apostle, says that “If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking daily food, and one of you says to them ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also, faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
For any questions, contact Chris Bretton, Director of Student Ministries.
*The Barn is a small facility located at the back side of the parking lot and is used for many of our student ministries.
