Each Sunday we pray our post communion prayer together, but have you ever stopped and truly pondered its richness and meaning? Each Wednesday night we will be looking at a different part of this prayer, the Biblical meaning behind it.

Almighty and everliving God (March 2nd), we thank you for feeding us with the spiritual food (March 9th) of the most precious Body and Blood of your Son our Savior Jesus Christ; and for assuring us (March 16th) in these holy mysteries that we are living members (March 30th) of the Body of your Son, and heirs (April 6th) of your eternal kingdom (April 13th). And now, Father, send us out to do the work (April 20th) you have given us to do, to love and serve you as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord. To him, to you, and to the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory, now and forever. Amen.
