Peru VBS Mission Trip BBQ Fundraiser
Observadores Galacticos (Galactic Starveyors) is coming to San Mateo Church and School this year. Last year our Peru Mission Team brought the first ever Vacation Bible School to San Mateo, using the Spanish version of the VBS curriculum used at Grace Anglican. This year, we are assisting and training teachers as they lead VBS.
We ask for prayers for students and teachers to come to know and love Jesus. Over the years our teams have provided financial resources and manual labor to help build the church and expand the school. We have built relationships with staff and now plan to assist them in discipling the students. We expect approximately 200 students to participate.
On Pentecost Sunday, June 4th, the Holy Smokes team will provide BBQ meals to raise support for children at San Manteo.
Purchase tickets in advance (Next Sunday, 5/28, or in the church office):
Adult Tickets: chicken, beans, chips, and a cookie $7.00
Kid Tickets: hot dogs, chips, and a cookie $5.00
