The Life of Discipleship at Grace Anglican Church Discipleship means personal, passionate devotion to a Person— our Lord Jesus Christ. Listed below are components that define the life of discipleship of members in the Anglican Diocese.
~ Worship every Lord’s Day in a church unless reasonably prevented.
~ Engage regularly in reading and studying Holy Scripture and the doctrines of the Church.
~ Observe their baptismal vows, lead an upright and sober life, and not give scandal to the Church.
~ Present their children and those they have led to the Lord for baptism and confirmation.
~ Give regularly, with the biblical tithe as the minimum standard of giving.
~ Practice forgiveness daily according to our Lord’s teaching.
~ Receive worthily the Sacrament of Holy Communion as often as reasonable.
~ Observe the feasts and fasts of the Church set forth in the Anglican formularies.
~ Continue their instruction in the Faith so as to remain an effective minister of Jesus Christ.
~Devote themselves to the ministry of Christ among those who do not know Him.
~ Develop a daily prayer life.
The goal of discipleship is more than information... it's transformation.
