We invite you to join Grace Anglican in worship as we journey through Holy Week together:
MAUNDY SERVEDAY MISSIONAL ACTIVITY:
Thursday, April 18th
This year we are all being encouraged to do something that is missional on Maundy Thursday. In his upper room discourse, after washing the disciples’ feet, Jesus said, “A new command I give to you. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Rather than gather at the church, we have an opportunity to “love one another” by reaching out to our neighbors and family who may not have a connection with church. Prayerfully consider inviting someone over to your home for dinner during Holy Week, or take your life group on a field trip to serve somewhere. Here are some ideas for you, your friends, and your family to serve others.
GOOD FRIDAY TENEBRAE:
Friday, April 19th at 7:30 PM
Childcare will be available for children ages nursery through 4 year olds.
Tenebrae means “shadow” or “darkness." This powerful service led by Jim Hart and the choir is intended to impress upon us the awful consequence of sin and the magnitude of our Savior’s suffering. Join us as we remember and ponder the heavy significance of Christ’s obedient walk to the cross.
Sunday, April 21st
7:00 AM AND 9:00 AM Traditional Service with a blend of contemporary worship songs and hymns led by Jim Hart and the choir, and accompanied by various instrumentalists.
11:00 AM Contemporary Service with music led by Jessica Coleman accompanied by the worship band.
Join us for a joyous celebration as we worship our risen Lord for his victory over death and defeat of sin. Appropriately, this is a historic day of baptism. Also, bring flowers from your garden as an offering to the Lord to place on the cross located in the narthex.
To encourage families to worship and celebrate together at the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services on Easter, there will be no children's classes. However, childcare is available for nursery thru 4 year olds in the administration building. Please note there is no childcare for the 7:00 AM service.
